Blessed with a fairly moderate climate and very heavy monsoon rains, the north-eastern states have a topography that has largely been shaped by the Brahmaputra and the Barak rivers. The Himalayas and the Meghalaya Plateau enclose much of the north-east's unique biodiversity, which ranges from lush tropical forests to tea plantations to oil-bearing fields and wildlife sanctuaries. In Sikkim, where the Himalayas occupy all its territory, snow capped peaks, glaciers and lakes give way to stark and desolate rugged mountain slopes.
Arunachal Pradesh is a heaven for nature lovers. Its virgin forests are a naturalist's dream and its difficult terrain bursting with opportunities for adventure enthusiasts. Apart from treks, the powerful Brahmaputra has sections galore for all levels of white water rafting. Bomdila, Ziro, Tawang, Pasighat, Miao and Namdapha are interesting places to visit in this very mystical state.
In Manipur, discover the rich culture of the locals through their display of classic dances and martial arts. The Loktak Lake is one of the state's most splendid possessions. The rainy state of Meghalaya has enchanting hill stations like Shillong and fascinating tribal culture, even as Cherrapunjee cuts a different landscape with its limestone caves.
Mizoram, nestled within the Mizo Hills is typified by exotic flora and swift flowing streams. The Mizos have zealously guarded their ancient culture of which you may catch a glimpse of in any of their 10 sprightly dances. Nagaland is wild and beautiful, and cautious treks into peaks like Japfu and the Dzukou valley reveal its tightly held secrets.

Day 01 : NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Darjeeling (98 kms / 3 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft.). On arrival check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 02 : Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs). Evening free for shopping & leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 03 : Darjeeling – Kalimpong (57 kms / 2 hrs) Sightseeing
After Breakfast transfer to Kalimpong (4,100 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon enjoy half day tour of Kalimpong Visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Flower Nurseries. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
Day 04 : Kalimpong – Gangtok (77 kms / 3 hrs)
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.). On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 05 : Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage Industry, Dro-dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 06 : Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) -- situated at a distance of 35 kms away from Gangtok on the Gangtok-Nathula Highway this lake has been worshipped as Holy lake by locals also there is a temple of Baba Mandir. & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
OR (Due to Road blockage by Land slide enroute Tsomgo Lake)
Excursion to Temi Tea & Chardham. Start for a Full day excursion of Temi Tea Garden & Chardham. Back to Gangtok in evening. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 07 : Gangtok – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (125 kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
